A NEW team vicar for Turton is to be welcomed into the parish of St Anne's in March.
The Rev Martin Short arrives on March 4 when the Bishop of Bolton, the Rt Rev David Gillett, will officially welcome him into the parish at 7.30pm.
Churchwardens at St Anne's, Stephen Hobson and Pauline Kirk, said: "We are looking forward to having a family back in the vicarage and welcome Martin, his wife Lily, their son Matthew and their daughter Rebekah. We hope they will be happy in their new home."
Another diary date for St Anne's is February 25 when the new team ministry will be inaugurated with a special service at St Maxentius, Bradshaw. The service begins at 7.30pm.
