ALMOST a third of the pupils at Woodhey High School, Bury, have been affected by an infectious gastric-flu bug which is sweeping the region.
Three hundred out of the 1,000 pupils have been affected and headteacher Martin Braidley said: "I have never known anything like it in 25 years as a teacher."
