DAVID Lucas is set to be missing from action for several weeks after collecting a strain in training.

He pulled a muscle at the top of his heap as he jumped for a high ball.

Tepi Moilanen was forced to return to the nets at the weekend despite having an eye injury.

Midfielder Mark Rankine's return from injury has been shuffled back to mid-March.

He saw a specialist last week about his broken foot and is making progress.

Physio Mick Rathbone said: "He can now take his weight on it and we are going to do some gym work, but even so he is plaster for another four weeks and then there's rehab on top of that, so it's a mid-March return for him at the earliest."

However, Richard Cresswell could be a possible starter for Saturday's game after battling back twice from injury.

One of the most memorable moments of the season has come back to haunt Millwall keeper Tony Warner.

The firey goalie, who lost his rag with one of PNE's ballboys during September's game at Deepdale, has been handed a one-match ban by the FA following a disciplinary hearing.

He was seen shoving North End trainee Michael Kewley towards the end of the game, which North End won 1-0 and prompted the Lilywhite's revival.

Warner was accused of pushing the youth team player as he attempted to retrieve the ball.

The keeper has also been fined one week's wages.

No surprises here, but North End's trip to Manchester City on Sunday, February 10 is set to be all ticket!

The televised game kicks off at 2.15pm.

North End fans have been allocated 2,009 seats in the North Stand at Maine Road that are priced at £15 for adults and £8 for juniors and OAPs.

Season ticket holders have first dibs on Monday and Tuesday, with shareholders have their chance on Wednesday. They go on sale on Friday, February 1.

No tickets will be on sale on Thursday, because that is the day Preston play Watford at Deepdale.
