LEAGUE leaders Golborne Sports had to work hard for a 2-1 victory at Bollington.
Golborne took the lead with a Gareth Weigh penalty after 20 minutes but this was cancelled out just before the break.
Golborne started brightly at the start of the second half and were creating chances but the home side held firm and gradually came back into it creating a few chances of their own. But it was Golborne who were to get the all important second goal with five minutes remaining. The impressive Lee Patterson picked the ball up and ran across the face of the home defence before unleashing a left foot drive into the bottom corner.
