WHILST I recognise and support the tough job the police have to do the targeting of the Warehouse appalls me.
Resorting to unsubstantiated claims is a worrying development.
I have visited the Warehouse regularly and no doubt, due to draconian security, fewer and fewer people have been in but, as ever, a more safe and comfortable evening could not have been found anywhere else in Lancaster.
DCI Rhodes is misguided if he thinks scare tactics and misinformation (surely the role of politicians) is a constructive way to manage the harm caused by controlled substances.
He has only to recognise all the alcohol related problems his colleagues deal with and remember it is illegal to make liquor in private and water in public.
