THEATRE-goers can look forward to a variety of performances being staged at Darwen Library Theatre in January and February.
Darwen Library Players are taking to the stage tomorrow with a comedy called The Haunted Through Lounge and Recessed Dining Nook at Farndale Castle.
The production, which promises to bring the house down with murder and mayhem, is being staged tonight and Saturday at 7.30pm.
And members of Blackburn Drama Club show off their acting talents in February with a comedy drama called Cash on Delivery, which runs from February 6 to February 9 at 7.30pm.
The following week Jathra, an exciting form of story telling, has been blended for the first time with European spice to create a spectacle of language, poetry, movement and songs - where traditional arts meets modern technology.
Peshkar Productions present The Beautiful Violin, an emotional love story. The performances take place on February 14 and February 15 at 7.30pm.
Tickets for all performances can be bought from Darwen Library on Knott Street or by calling 01254 706006.
