PUPILS from five local schools have had their science projects exhibited.
St Andrew's CE Primary School in Radcliffe, Whitefield Community Primary School, Elms Bank Community High School, Tottington High School and the Pupil Learning Centre had displays covering such subjects as "Earth and Space" and "Digestion" on show at the Association of Science Education's annual meeting at Liverpool University earlier this month.
The exhibition is one of the many events being held all over the country to celebrate Science Year, which aims to raise interest in science, technology and engineering.
Bury's general adviser for science, Wendy Jackson, said: "The work on display at Liverpool reflected both the variety and quality of science work produced by pupils in the North West. I am pleased that Bury schools were able to take part."
