RADCLIFFE Cricket Club will finally unveil full plans for its proposed relocation at a public exhibition on Sunday (Jan 27).
On display will be designs for the new £500,000 multi-sports centre it wants to build at Cams Lane running track as well as plans for the proposed housing development on its existing Racecourse Ground.
Representatives of the cricket club will be on hand to explain the club's ambitions and answer any questions.
The name of the housing company will be revealed for the first time and members of the company will be there, along with the designer.
The proposals have provoked strong local reaction, which is largely why the club has decided to hold the open day.
Club chairman David Halliwell said: "We are hoping to clear up any misunderstandings and ill-feeling. We want everything out in the open and hope to get the support of the public."
The open day will be held in the clubhouse between 1pm and 3pm. Members of the club will be informed of the details at an extraordinary general meeting beforehand.
Mr Halliwell said: "It's only right that our members are told first."
