LEIGH RMI head into tomorrow's Conference clash at Northwich with the motto 'If it's not broken, don't mend it'.

The Railwaymen are in peak form at present having successfully brushed aside Telford United and Emley on their last two outings and manager Steve Waywell will have a full squad to select from as they make the short journey to Cheshire looking to extend their winning run.

"All the players are fit at the moment", enthused Waywell, who had an astonishing 13 players missing in the opening weeks of the season.

"The way they have performed in the last few weeks, it would be unfair to change anything because the lads have been tremendous.

"Marcus Hallows has played brilliantly after coming off the bench in the past few weeks and we have got Steve Thompson waiting in the wings should he be needed in midfield.

With Andy Farrell, Jamie Udall, Andy Heald, Nicky Spooner and Neil Fisher all fit to play, we have competition for places for the first time this season and that is a great boost for the club."

RMI's task will not be a simple one but the Drill Fielders have proved just as inconsistent as the Railwaymen since September - when they even topped the Nationwide Conference after a gripping 2-1 win at Hilton Park. The Vics have since dropped to the bottom half of the table but Waywell knows the difficulty of his task after Northwich eliminated table-topping Boston United from the FA Trophy just two weeks before.

"All of our games are tough now but if we continue to play confidently as we have been doing of late, I think we will win the game", Waywell admitted.

"Northwichare on amini-run at the momentbut I think it depends how we perform on the day."

It will be Leigh's last league match for two weeks before they embark on ties in both the Lancashire FA Trophy and the FA Umbro Trophy.
