WYRE Borough Council's tourism team will be attending national and international tourism shows to put the borough back on the maps as a tourist destination.
The team will be joining forces with other local authorities and private sector businesses to showcase everything Wyre has to offer.
This will include launching the new holiday guide and Forest of Bowland activity guide and pocket guide at OpPad Amsterdam, the largest outdoor activity show in the Netherlands, and attending shows in Manchester and Birmingham.
Head of Leisure and Cultural Services Tom Pridmore said: "Wyre is a great holiday and short break destination and perfect for the day tripper too.
"Tourism is the fastest growing industry in the world. It is important that we take every opportunity to promote Wyre and help boost the local economy."
