TWO Blackpool employees were honoured for their long service last week.
The High Sheriff of Lancashire, Mrs Gloria Oates OBE, dropped in on Tony Taziker and Luigi Amatiello of Gledhill Water Storage to present them with engraved gold watches to mark 25 years' service.
Tony, 59, is currently the stores manager for the appliance division at the Squires Gate factory and started his career with the company manufacturing radiators.
Luigi, 52, began working with Gledhill on copper cylinder manufacturing in Blackpool and moved to the Bristol depot before taking up his current position at the building products division's Liverpool depot and manufacturing unit.
Group president Keith Gledhill said: "While we are a national leader in domestic heating technology, we are still a family-run company and we regard our skilled workforce as our prime asset.
"You cannot succeed in business without the support of that workforce and we are pleased to pay tribute to their loyalty and diligence."
