SEVEN members of the same family have made a further appearance before Blackburn magistrates over two alleged incidents which resulted in people needing hospital treatment.
In the first incident, in Audley, Yasser Ghalib was allegedly stabbed and in the second Afzal Parvaiz was allegedly beaten unconscious in Leeds Close.
Six men and a woman appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with violent disorder. They were Jahangir Iqbal, 49, of Leeds Close, Haseeb Ahmed Jahangir, 19, of Leeds Close, Nasar Khan, 19, of July Street, Zahir Iqbal, 32, of Dundee Drive, Qudeer Iqbal, 45, of Strathclyde Road, Tanveer Jahangir, 23, of Leeds Close, and the female Kurshed Jahangir, 51, of Leeds Close. Haseeb Jahangir and Nasar Khan are both charged with a second offence of violent disorder and Nasar Khan is charged with wounding Yasser Ghalib with intent to cause him grievous bodily harm. All were remanded on bail until February 13.
