CLITHEROE travel to Nantwich tomorrow hoping to pick up three vital points as they look to push back into the title race.
The Blues have slipped down the league in recent weeks as St Helens have taken a hold of the NWCL first division lead.
But boss Lee Sculpher says his players still believe they are in with a shout.
"We need to win tomorrow. Nantwich have had a couple of good results in the last week. They have pulled away from the relegation places.
"Everyone says Kidsgrove or St Helens are going to win it but if they lose two or three everyone else is suddenly back in it.
"We have been paying for our bad start all season and we need to win 16 of our last 21 games. That would take us to 89 points."
Clitheroe have drawn Bedfordshire side Arlesey in the last 16 of the FA Vase but Sculpher says that is not the side's priority.
"The league is still the priority because the lads still think they can do it. But if in a few weeks results haven't gone the way we hoped then the Vase could well become our priority."
