TWO Pendle women launched their own training programme this week with the opening of Business Team Training in Colne.
Wendy Bowers and Eileen Hirst aim to help firms in Lancashire and on the Yorkshire border grow and flourish through their flexible approach to training.
The new BTT training centre in Greenfield Road will offer business courses including Sage and TAS computerised accounting systems, marketing, financial forecasting and the European Computer Driving Licence.
Both Wendy and Eileen have practical experience of running their own businesses and understand the challenges local companies face to stay on top.
Professional trainer Eileen said: "Our unique approach to training focuses on the individual by teaching small groups to ensure faster learning in a friendly, informal atmosphere."
Business partner Wendy said: "We have an excellent track record in sourcing grants to make training affordable for small and medium-sized companies and have specially designed our training to meet the needs of real people in real businesses."
Once a course is completed people will still be entitled to back-up support to build confidence in using new computer systems in the workplace.
Courses can be booked at flexible times to suit individual needs, regardless of their home or work commitments.
