IT'S make or break week for Rovers striker Ciccio Grabbi.
The Italian transfer window closes on Thursday and if Grabbi is to head back to his native land, then events will have to move quickly.
Grabbi has only scored one league goal since his £6.5m move from Ternana in the summer and fellow Serie B sides Reggina and Napoli are vying for his signature, possibly on loan to the end of the season.
"There's a possibility of something happening," said Rovers chief executive John Williams. "We are in talks, but there is nothing firm as yet."
Meanwhile, Simon Grayson is being linked with a move to either Leicester or Derby, although the club has not received any formal approach.
The out-of-favour defender said: "I had five or six of my best years at Leicester but whether there is anything in the speculation or not I don't know.
"My agent has been talking to a lot of clubs in the Premier League, Division One and abroad in an effort to get me fixed up."
