THE Bosom Friends cancer charity in Barnoldswick boosted their funds with a musical extravaganza at the Conservative Club yesterday.
Many local people took the stage to sing for the charity along with a number of professional entertainers including an Elvis Presley impersonator.
Days earlier the charity had presented £600 cheques to two cancer hospitals, the Christie at Manchester and Cookridge, Leeds.
Chairperson, Mary Brennan said the money was raised in the summer at a charity football match in Victory Park.
She said: "We run the cancer support group to help any local people who has cancer problems or their families and much of the money we raised goes to individuals."
Barnoldswick and Earby Bosom Friends was set up to help women who had suffered from breast cancer but now has been extended and helps anyone with a cancer problem.
Mary said: "The fund-raising has snowballed."
