WATCHING the news on TV, I was drawn to the 'exchange of words' between Tony Blair and Iain Duncan Smith in Parliament over the Rose Addis case. Sadly, over the last few years, the NHS has been used as a pawn in local and national squabbles.
While it is now fashionable to criticise and besmirch the NHS for transient political gains, the NHS has been here for 50-plus years. It will still be here. We will be here for the country. We the nurses and staff in your hospitals are still in touch with the real world.
