THE more we have heard about Osama bin Laden, the Taliban and the Al Qaeda movement, the more shocked people have become at their atrocities.
But Blackburn 's MP Jack Straw says the prisoners held in Cuba by the Americans deserve to be treated properly by the Geneva Convention rules when referring to the three Britons among the captives.
These Taliban and Al Qaeda prisoners, British or not, are monsters, who laughed when 3,000 innocent people of all races were killed in the Twin Towers.
These men would laugh and spit on the Geneva Convention if the tables were turned and it was them who had captured British and American soldiers.
Give them basic food and rations and allow them to worship in their own way, but for pity's sake, Mr Straw, don't dole out the milk of human kindness to people who don't deserve it.
V EDMONDSON, Arrowsmith Close, Hoghton.
