A SHOWBIZ Gala, featuring selections from a clutch of favourite musicals, will take to the tonight (Tues Feb 5).
The curtain will rise on the latest production by St John and St Mark's Dramatic Society.
The show has been produced and directed by Mark Fishwick and Alison Lightfoot with music by Alexander Law.
The Showbiz Gala consists of two musical reveues, Annie and Gypsy. And there will be several other musicals showcased, including the Blues Brothers.
The second half of the cabaret will feature a brand new short musical one act play, entitled The Gaslight Club, written by Ruth Keir and set in 1920s Chicago. It's a tale of gangsters and good guys.
Performances, to take place at St John's Church in Parkinson Street, Bury, at 7.30pm will be staged tonight (Feb 5); Friday and Saturday (Feb 8-9) and the following Tuesday, (Feb 12).
Tickets are £3.75 for adults and £2.75 for children and special concessions, children/pensioners £2.75 (first night only).
