POLICE say they fear for the safety of a 16-year-old girl missing from the Clitheroe area for almost four days.
Samantha Yates was last seen as she left her home for college at 8am on Friday.
She has not been seen since and police say they are becoming increasingly concerned.
They have made an urgent appeal for anyone who might be able to help to get in touch.
Inspector Bob Ford said: "As time goes on, our concern levels are growing. We very much would like to speak to Samantha and make sure she is safe."
Samantha is white, 5ft 9in, with a fair complexion, blue eyes and mousy brown shoulder length hair.
She was wearing blue bell bottom jeans, a white bubble jacket and boots and had on a silver coloured watch.
Anyone who has any information is asked to call police on 01254 51212.
