BLACKBURN's Never Never Land has begun a month long party to celebrate its tenth birthday.
And owner Margo Carmichael-Grimshaw has had her Bentley resprayed especially to mark the occasion, pictured.
Margo says she is thrilled to have spent a decade working on 'the street' as she affectionately terms it - especially as she has given it all up twice before.
She said: "I only got into the trade by accident as I was set to emigrate to America 40 years ago but there was a recession on and someone suggested I got a pub so that I would have somewhere to live and some money coming in before I moved on.
"But I've been in it ever since although I did retire twice and got bored to death so came back."
Margo actually owned the Never Never Land building, in Market Street Lane, in the 1970s but sold it only to buy it back again 10 years ago.
She and her son Andrew John Carmichael now have their own empire as they own five venues throughout the town.
