KIDS' soccer coaches Joe Buchanan and Pete Palmer paid the price of success when their team came good at the 14th time of asking.
True to their word the duo bared their behinds when the lads of Rishton United under nines won their first game of the season.
And to the cheers of their charges the 'crazy gang' then cooled off with a dip in the River Darwen at Witton Park.
"It started off as a joke but when the lads pulled it off we had to keep our promise," said Joe.
The two coaches braved February temperatures to perform their victory penance but headed for the warmth of the changing rooms straight away.
"At the end of the day Pete and I are just delighted for the boys. They have trained hard and played hard all season and they deserve to get something out of it. I don't know what we will do if they win again but it will have to be a bit special to top today's celebrations. "
Rishton beat Wilpshire wanderers 1-0 in a hard-fought game.
Lewis Crichton scored the winner when he sneaked one in at the near post just before half time. Johnny Hession, Rishton's livewire striker, was the referee's man of the match.
The under nines play in the Hyndburn Youth League and had lost their previous 13 games this season. Rishton United runs teams of all ages and youngsters train at the Prime Time Centre at Norden High School.
Joe said: "We got beaten 11-0 in a cup game last week and everyone was really down. They have done really well to pick themselves up."
