HASLINGDEN athlete Rebecca White finished third in the triple jump in the AAA Indoor Championships at Cardiff at the weekend.
White, who competes for Sale, jumped 12.64m but was some way off British number one Ashia Hansen who leapt to 13.53 to take the title.
Rebecca, who is still using a short run-up as she strives to get her technique right, needs to clear 13m this summer to stand a chance of being selected for the Commonwealth Games in Manchester this summer.
The 21-year-old was happy with her jump - and is confident she will be ready for June when the trials are.
