DANCERS from a Blackburn dance school were like the cats that got the cream when they qualified for the UK championships.
The realisation that the girls had won through to the finals to be held in October was a special occasion for the dance troupe as it was the last time they competed as the Ally Kats.
Ally Kats Dance Studio was first opened 10 years ago by principal Lynda O'Shea but she has just handed over to Jackie Sanderson, of Sanderson Dance and Fitness Centre, who meet in Town Hall Street, Blackburn.
Although the girls qualified in Scunthorpe as Ally Kats they will compete later this year under the new name.
