A MAN who threatened to kill a Darwen mother was due in Preston Crown Court today for sentence.
Estranged husband Aledwyn Jones is charged with making a threat to kill against Anna Jones after an incident in Richmond Terrace, Darwen in August last year.
He also faces an affray charge from the same incident when he threatened Mrs Jones with a knife in front of her three children.
He was arrested in the south of England following a police hunt and later admitted the charges.
Sentence was adjourned last week and Jones was remanded in custody after he told the court he and his estranged wife had become reconciled -- a claim denied by Mrs Jones.
