STAFF at Darwen Moorland High have appealed for spare supermarket vouchers in a bid to buy extra computer equipment for the school.
They are currently collecting Tesco's Computers for School vouchers and would welcome any contributions.
From now until April 7 shoppers will be able to collect one voucher for every £10 spent in a single Tesco transaction.
The school's target for 2002 is to collect 23,000 vouchers to buy an RM Accelerator PC.
Anyone who would like to help the school meet its target is asked to send their vouchers to the Tesco Computers for Schools co-ordinator, Darwen Moorland High School, Holden Fold, Darwen.
The computers for schools scheme is now in its 11th year and this year. Since 1992 Tesco Computers for Schools has supplied schools with more than £70 million worth of equipment, including over 46,200 computers and 394,000 items of additional equipment such as printers, scanners and software.
