THE driver of a vehicle which crashed and left a teenager in intensive care with serious head injuries is expected to be interviewed again by police next week.
Andrew McMinn, of Blake Gardens, Great Harwood, was a passenger in an Isuzu Trooper vehicle which left the road on a left-hand bend in Clayton-le-Moors and went into a stone wall at 4.50am on Saturday.
Mr McMinn was taken to Blackburn Royal Infirmary, where his condition remains critical.
Another passenger, Ryan Baird, 25, of Spencer Grove, Great Harwood, was also admitted to hospital, where he was treated for a cut to his head and later released.
The teenage driver of the blue four-wheel drive vehicle, who has not been identified, was treated for shock at the scene.
He has been interviewed once already by police.
Witnesses to the car crash on Whalley Road, between Tarn Avenue and Hyndburn Bridge, at 4.50am on Saturday have been asked to contact police on 01254 353764.
Mr McMinn's family are too upset to speak about the incident.
