IF you can't get down to Nottingham on Saturday for the final round of the Reebok Cross Challenge which incorporates both the Inter Counties and the World Trials, then you can watch it on TV.
Sky will be on air for four and a half hours and will have live coverage of all ten races.
Locally, Sunday sees the Colne 11mile Road and Multi Terrain Race.
Start, finish and registration are all at the Colne Sports Centre where there is good parking and shower and changing facilities.
The race starts at 11am and travels over road, rough track and field from Colne via Laneshawbridge, Wycollar, Trawden, Winewall back to Colne.
Also on Sunday, the final Sports Hall Athletics match of the winter is at Hyndburn Sports Centre.
Members of competing clubs should register at 11am in time for a prompt start at midday.
There is a Fun Run in Preston on Sunday with a choice of 2 or 6 mile courses. Both events go from the Anderton Arms which is a mile from J31A on the M6 at Longsands Lane, Preston.
The shorter run starts proceedings at 9:45am, the longer one starts an hour later.
There are two Presentation Evenings this weekend.
The SE Lancs Cross Country League Awards Night is on Friday at 7:30pm at the Horwich RMI Club.
On Saturday Accrington Road Runners will be holding their event at the Bold St Club on Accrington starting at 7:30pm. Members can book tickets with Helen Goodwin 01254-394459 or Julia Hartley 01282-772462.
