Man of many roles AMATEUR drama enthusiast Eric Nolan has only got a small part in Blackburn Drama Club's production this week, but he's struggling to find time to learn his lines.
Eric, of Bryers Croft, Wilpshire, is not only chairman of the club, but also acting secretary and publicity officer -- as well as helping his wife Margaret to provide props for Cash On Delivery. The comedy by Michael Cooney, directed by Jean Jones, is being staged at Darwen Library Theatre tonight and tomorrow.
Contact the Box Office (01254 706006) for ticket details.
Eric said: "For the last eight weeks club members have been busying themselves with rehearsals, costumes, set building and painting, sound and lighting and sourcing props, including a washing machine that has a mind of its own and chases one member of the cast."
The drama club is always looking for new members. Anyone interested can contact Eric on 01254 247510.
