THE trip to Formby has proved a success in recent seasons for Nelson - and John Bailey is hoping for more of the same tomorrow.
The Blues visit second placed Formby on the back of their first win in six NWCL Division Two games - a 1-0 victory over Castleton Gabriels.
And they are desperate to get a run going as they bid for a top six spot going into the last third of the season to make it an 'interesting' end.
"I think Formby are in a false position at the moment as they have played a lot more games than anyone else," said the Nelson chief.
"They have scored quite a lot of goals but saying that we have a good record there from recent seasons so hopefully it will carry on."
Like the majority of the teams, Nelson have been kicking their heels with postponements but have continued training - with a few circuits thrown in - and are raring to go.
"We want to play tomorrow. Formby usually get their games on so it will be nice to have a match and start a run."
