MORECAMBE have allowed experienced midfielder Andy Gouck to leave after making just a handful of first team appearances.
Gouck, who joined in the summer after captaining Southport, has rejoined his former boss, Mark Wright, at Chester City.
The former Blackpool and Rochdale midfielder impressed early in the season but, with the likes of Stewart Drummond and Adriano Rigoglioso impressing in recent weeks, Gouck has been allowed to move on to the Deva Stadium, where first team opportunities are more likely to be available.
Morecambe this week take on Yeovil Town, with the remarkable Wayne Curtis and Alex Hay hoping to continue their amazing run of form.
In the two games since they linked up the youngsters have managed to score four goals - each.
That goes with the brace Curtis scored in the previous game against Hayes.
The injured Robbie Talbot is also expected to back in action within the next few weeks, providing a mouth-watering array of attacking options.
Meanwhile, youngsters Hugh Dickson and Ryan-Zico Black are in the Northern Ireland Under-21 squad.
