CONTROVERSIAL plans to build a third nuclear reactor at Heysham will be discussed at a public meeting next week.
The meeting will take place at Morecambe Town Hall on February 6 at 7.30pm and local councillor, Pat England, said: "The meeting is a golden opportunity to get answers to questions we normally get very little chance of asking.
"Most local people say they are worried about evacuation procedures and we wouldn't be human if the health of the environment and our families is not a concern when we live so close to such industries."
There will also be a stall on February 2 outside the Arndale Centre where people can express their views.
