WHILE everyone must be aware by now of the lack of landfill sites for our rubbish, I sympathise with those in the Fulwood area of Preston where a pilot scheme for recycling is, at present, taking place.
To provide every household with five wheelie bins seems rather excessive to say the least.
Indeed, I know some people with only two wheelie bins, whose waste for recycling occasionally ends up in the wrong bin, therefore defeating the object. But five wheelie bins (whatever colour they come in) could cause all sorts of problems, especially for the elderly and irresponsible.
Hence, we may see wheelie bin snoopers employed causing a lot of red tape -- but which bin would that go in?
