WHAT are the powers that be doing to our roads?
I took a circular route along Holden Road, Manchester Road, Leigh, Princes Avenue, Astley, into Tyldesley and back along Hamilton Street, Atherton.
It can only be described as an obstacle course. What's with all these big humps? Are they totally necessary?
I'd appreciate some instructions on the best way to drive over them because I was afraid of damaging the car's undercarriage.
Do you drive straight at them, go over with one wheel or head straight through the middle to avoid them?
I'm afraid I went through the middle where possible.
There's a difference between creating traffic calming and dangers, and in my opinion these roads may be slower but are now more perilous than they were previously!
