ROSSENDALE romantics looking for an unusual way to say 'I love you' this Valentine's Day could try picking up Mae West's necklace as a gift -- or what about Clark Gable's cuff links?
Memorabilia and music store Pride Records in Bank Street, Rawtenstall, has specially imported 'gifts of love' in time for the special day for sweethearts.
The store specialises in unusual gifts including autographed merchandise and photographs.
Co-owner Alison Sharples said: "Mae West was given the goddess of love pendant in rose gold with a diamond inset when she started her career and we have put it on a chain and boxed it. It would be a lovely romantic gift for her.
"We also have some Clark Gable cuff links for him which are gold with a caramel-coloured stone which has a carved Roman soldier on and made by Swanki. They were a present from his wife a month before he died."
The shop also had a Madonna hat -- which the legend wore on the cover of Vogue -- and that has already been snapped up along with some cuff links from the King Elvis.
