THE search is on for Britain's prettiest pub with a free trip to Spain up for grabs.
The Golden Jubilee Green Apple Heritage Awards are looking for the pubs with the most charm and character.
The judges for the awards - in their ninth year - will be looking for contribution to national heritage, community involvement and setting.
All national winners will be given a three-day mini cruise to Spain.
Applications from landlords, managers or customers who consider their 'local' to be worthy of a Jubilee memorial plaque should send a photograph of the exterior to: Golden Jubilee Awards, The Mill House, Mill Lane, Earls Barton, Northampton NN6 ONR. with name, address, telephone number and approximate age of the building.
The closing date for entries is March 2002.
