Goldline Trophy Preview by Martyn Hindley: ATHERTON Collieries and Prestwich Heys battle it out for a place in the Goldline Final when they meet tonight at Radcliffe Borough's Stainton Park.
Colls will start with the advantage having beaten Prestwich 2-1 in August's Group game, with all three goals coming in the final 13 minutes.
The Atherton side progressed to the knockout phase of the competition, which is sponsored by the Bolton Evening News, with an unbeaten record, and if they win will become the third Atherton side to make the final in the history of the tournament.
Atherton LR won the inaugural event at Hilton Park with victory over neighbouring Atherton Town in 1999.
Tonight's winners will meet last year's winning team Charnock Richard in the final at the Reebok Stadium. Charnock beat Hindsford in the first semi-final.
