THE good people of Rawtenstall who complain about chanticleer's crowing (LET, February 4), should realise that they are destined to do this early in the morning to make the sun rise.
There are far worse things to come, with the global warming, we shall have leopards invading via the Channel Tunnel.
Already, there are parrots and scorpions in Kent.
