THE owner of untidy land at Back O Th' Edge Farm, Red Lane, Colne, could be given another six weeks to clear the site after bad weather delayed the work.
Pendle Council received a complaint in January 2001 that a piece of land next to the long access road to the farm was strewn with building materials, mainly stone.
Stone left on the site was excess material left over from work on two-storey extension, a council report says.
It was formally agreed with the owner that the stone should be removed by last Christmas.
Council planners have recommended that no further action should be taken by the council subject to all the stone, materials and other objects being removed from the land by March 31. If the area is still untidy after this date they could then be served with a notice to remove it under Section 215 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
