A FLIPPIN' good time was had by all this week as pancake lovers young and old enjoyed a feast of delicious delights.
From pancakes with lemon and sugar to those with syrup and cream -- dozens of people cracked the eggs and mixed the flour and milk before tucking into the traditional tasty treat.
Among them were customers and staff at Asda in Fulwood, Preston, who enjoyed a mixed bag of games and fun events to celebrate Shrove Tuesday -- the Christian festival in the run up to Lent.
As well as a variety of in-store games and competitions for the young ones, staff and customers got stuck into a pancake race, with great prizes to be had for the winners.
And Preston College catering students Lee Herron, 22, and 19-year-old Kristopher O'Connor were more than happy to whip up the liquid mixture and toss up a gourmet delight for their classmates.
Now they are hoping their culinary skills will scoop them an apprenticeship at the Savoy Hotel in London during the summer.
