INCONSISTENT Morecambe slumped to their biggest defeat of the season as rampant Yeovil put on a five star performance at Christie Park.
The visitors were title chasing last year, and seem to have made a top three place their own again after an indifferent start.
A seemingly innocuous slip by Andy Fensome let Michael McIndoe in with the first from the edge of the area.
They lead for just three minutes, however, before Adriano Rigoglioso beat keeper Chris Weale with a free kick out wide.
The first half remain reasonable well balanced until the 40th minute, when vastly experienced striker Kim Grant sneaked in to put Yeovil back in front.
Morecambe attempted to cling on until half time, but an error by keeper Craig Mawson gave youngster Lee Johnson the easiest of opportunities to double the lead.
Other sides would have settled for that, but Yeovil came out even stronger in the second half and again
