MORE than 65 people assembled at Leighton Hall, near Carnforth to investigate a murder last week - but it was all in a good cause.
A total of £500 was raised for Cancer Care at the evening, put on by the Storth entertainers, who turned the stately home into the venue for the most horrid of fictional crimes.
Participants had to guess the identity of the murderer, based on the details of the night's events, as relayed to them by the players.
Organisers, Rosalie Janes, said: "We would like to thank Susie Reynolds for the venue and everyone who took part a good night was had by all."
