TO ATTEND a home game at Ewood Park, I make a 200-mile round trip.
Having purchased tickets and attended the Worthington Cup ties against Manchester City and Sheffield Wednesday imagine my dismay when I was informed attending these games did not count for the Worthington Cup Final, but two Premiership games did and would entitle me to a ticket.
Unbelievable logic!
Unfortunately for me the only Premiership game I have been able to attend, due to business commitments and travel distance, was that against Leicester City.
So my attendance at two home Worthington Cup ties counts for nothing.
I was also one of the 10,000 crowd at the Barnsley FA Cup replay. Does this mean that if the Rovers reach the FA Cup Final attending FA Cup ties will not count towards ticket allocation?
Someone in the Chief Executive's department at Ewood Park needs to get their brain into gear.
I was at Wembley in 1960, aged 12 years old, so obviously I would like to see Rovers in the final after a 42-year wait for another major cup final.
If anyone has a spare ticket or Rovers have a change in policy distribution give me a call.
I have written to the Rovers, but as yet have had no reply!
