CLAYTON Harrier Paul Targett was the third finisher in the Anderton Arms six mile fun run at Preston.
Matt Moorhouse of Salford Harriers was first to cross the line in 32:55 while Paul clocked 33:38. Fifth in 34:15 and leading veteran was another Clayton man Andrew Taylor as the fastest M45 was Darwen Dasher Barry Shackleton.
Two more locals finished top of their classes - over 50 Geoffrey Orritt of Red Rose Road Runners, and evergreen M65 Bill Atkinson running for Northern Vets.
Elsewhere Lee Passco of Clayton set a of PB 33:58 when finishing sixth in the Penny Pot 10K at Harrogate.
