SWINTON Lions, still smarting from their heavy cup defeat at the hands of new Super League side Widnes, may find themselves on the wrong side of another beating on Sunday.
That is unless coach Tony Humphries has rectified some of the mistakes that Swinton produced against the Vikings.
"The players know that it will be another tough game against Huddersfield, so we must improve our kicking game,'' said Humphries, who has ex-Barrow utility player Anthony Murray back to strengthen his cause.
Humphries has a slight injury doubt over Adam Hughes, who went off with an ankle injury during last Sunday's defeat by Widnes, but he should recover in time.
Huddersfield can now concentrate all their efforts on the league leadership, having lost to Doncaster at the "Theatre of Pain'' last week.
"It wasn't one of our best performances. They caught us out and were the better team on the day,'' admitted coach Tony Smith.
With ex-Keighley prop Mick Slicker out with a fractured eye socket, Steve McNamara could return to the Giants pack, while prop Chris Molyneux should overcome his hip injury in time to play.
