RADCLIFFE Boro were at Guiseley knowing that any positive result will apply that little more pressure to promotion rivals.

Currently in second place and with a four point cushion over Eastwood Town from having played one game less Boro would appear to be masters of their own destiny.

Six teams have broken away at the top of the table with Harrogate Town leading the way three points in front of Radcliffe with four games in hand.

Barring major slips the title would realistically already appear to belong to the Yorkshiremen leaving the rest to fight it out for the second promotion slot and at the moment Boro have that vital edge. Full back Rick Battersby will be the only absentee as suspension sees him sit out the Guiseley clash and Tuesday's home Kendal Town matches.

Ring rust could be the biggest problem for Atherton LR having played just one game since the turn of the year.
