CHILDREN at a Bury's Woodbank Primary School certainly made a meal of it when they said farewell to a lunchtime supervisor.
They presented Glenis Hampson with bouquets of flowers and a host of colourful cards to mark her retirement.
Mrs Hampson, of Rushmere Drive, Bury, had served as a lunchtime supervisor for the past 18 years, latterly looking after around 28 reception class children.
And her two daughters had attended Woodbank when their mum was a supervisor. Previously, she had served in the same capacity for around three years at Greenmount CP School.
To mark her retirement, Mrs Hampson was presented with gifts from the pupils and staff and a cheque from her colleagues in the kitchen.
