POLICE are hunting a shoplifter who pulled a knife on a Blackpool shop assistant in broad daylight.
The man walked into the Nightingale's store in Leopold Grove at around 3.15pm on January 31, but as he was leaving the store goods he had stolen set off an anti-theft alarm. He was chased by the shop worker into the street where he pulled the knife from a trouser pocket before running off.
Police described the man as white, aged 20-25, and 5ft 8in tall. He had short, brown hair, and was clean shaven. He was wearing a cream anorak and a black baseball cap. Anyone with any information can contact Blackpool Police on (01253) 293933.
