SIX-year-old dance starlet Kirstin Haughton finished fourth in a regional competition against girls aged up to 16-years-old.
Kirstin Haughton, of Warwick Street, Leigh, came first in the Under 8s group, which put her through to the final of the Slow Dance of the Year competition, where she competed against six finalists from other age groups including the under 16s.
Kirstin is a pupil at St Thomas's Primary School and has been dancing at the Apple Dance Centre in Twist Lane, Leigh, for almost three years.
Kirstin's mother Trudy said: "She was very pleased to have done so well. She loves dancing and hopefully she will be able to make a future out of it."
Kirstin is now looking forward to the Pontins British Isles Championships to be held in March.
