PENDLE'S tourism development officer Alex Holt will be trying to entice people in to visiting the borough next weekend when she attends a national holiday show in Birmingham.
She will be hoping to 'put a spell or two' on visitors at the Holiday Show at the National Exhibition Centre, which runs between Friday and Sunday.
Alex will be on stand number 163, in Hall 8, promoting the picturesque borough, while dressed in full costume as one of the infamous Pendle Witches.
She said: "Pendle has a lot to offer visitors, including breathtaking scenery which is perfect for countryside enthusiasts, a unique and fascinating heritage and a warm welcome to all.
"I will be doing my best to encourage visitors at the show to come to Pendle in the near future.
"Our message is that the countryside and our towns are open for business and we want people to come to Pendle."
Alex will be handing out free sticks of 'Pendle rock' and discount vouchers for accommodation and entertainment that can be used during a stay in the borough.
